The History of Tidewater Players

Tidewater Players was founded in the fall of 1979 by the late Harry Malin. We are one of the oldest continually operating community theatres in the area.

Our permanent home was the second floor Opera House on North Union Avenue in Havre de Grace until the summer of 2015, where we produced over 50 plays and musicals. We provide an opportunity for local actors, directors, musicians and “theater techies” to perform and improve their skills while creating top-notch theatrical productions for the town of Havre de Grace and the surrounding community.

We are a non-profit theatre company.  Our Board of Directors, our staff, our directors and our actors are all volunteers who work tirelessly to bring quality theater to Havre de Grace and Harford County.
